Buy this if you need a pro quality light at a reasonable cost. Don’t buy it just to walk the dog or to get firewood. The controls are simple and work well. The medium and high settings will handle most hiking and biking needs. The ultra mode is amazingly bright. Beam is very focused so not intended for area lighting. Solid and well built. Comes in a nice case, but it’s difficult to get back in the case. Overall great light.
