I think this unit was designed and intended to be used as an outdoor floodlight control. However, I bought it to use in a walk-in closet. I use this to take the place of one of those “pull-chain” lights which always seemed to be left on for hours at a time. Now the light comes on as I enter the closet and automatically turns off after 10 minutes. Works perfect.
